Our second sustainability report

Awareness, transparency and courage are the characteristics that perfectly identify the spirit with which we have written our first sustainability report.

Our second sustainability report describes the guiding principles and uniqueness of the business model of being a Benefit Corporation in the Italian industrial landscape.

Drafting this document has been an adventurous journey that we have undertaken with awareness, transparency and a healthy dose of courage. We have grappled with the complexity of objectively reporting our impact in a completely new process that has pushed us to take an honest look at our successes and areas for improvement, strengthening our determination and challenging us to do better and better.

A new model of civil entrepreneurship.

The concept of civil entrepreneurship on which our vision is based focuses on the key role of businesses in the local area and their responsibility as promoters of good practices for environmental protection.

Our commitment to protecting the ecosystem and reducing harmful emissions and sources of pollution is documented in a multi-year plan of objectives for reducing our impact on the local area, which is set out in the company’s Articles of Association and verified through annual reporting.

Sustainable product and process innovation.

Innovation is part of our DNA and aims to improve people’s quality of life through highly energy-efficient products, creating increasingly healthy and clean environments. This is why our Research and Development department focuses on integrating the assessment of the impacts associated with the manufacture of our products, with particular attention to the materials used in production and packaging.
