We have obtained three new EPD certifications
What is EPD certification?
EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certifications are Type III environmental product declarations that are requested on a voluntary basis and issued by a third party (in this case TUV) in accordance with the international standard ISO 14025. Their purpose is to quantify the environmental impact of products throughout their entire life cycle (‘from cradle to grave’), providing a transparent and comparable picture of the company’s environmental performance. They are valid for five years, during which annual checks are carried out to verify that the results have not deteriorated.
Obtaining EPD certification allows you to:
- Meet new regulatory requirements in terms of sustainability.
- Gain a competitive advantage over your competitors (those who have it are given preference in tenders).
- Compare the environmental performance of different products on the market.
- Improve your company’s credibility through environmental transparency.
A journey that began with the first four certifications obtained in 2024.
The process of assessing our environmental impact began back in 2024, when we obtained our first two EPD certifications for white Excellens and Optima ducts and accessories.
This year, we have extended the analysis to new products.
