A virtuous collaboration: the automatic storage case history

The growth of the company and the exponential increase of goods produced and handled in the warehouse has made it necessary to redevelop and modernize these spaces. The plant has undergone a renovation process in order to increase its overall performance. Therefore we have decided to involve Jungheinrich in order to finalize the project and respond to the need of optimizing flows between different areas and accelerate management times.

An automatic storage has been set up for the depot and collection of the material. This system extends over an area of 1500 square meters and uses 4 lanes, each equipped with a dedicated miniload. For managing all of this a software has been developed, which ensures the traceability of each piece. This system reduces manual movements within the warehouse, also favouring a more efficient organization.

Thanks to the implementation of this project, we were able to halve supply times and optimize internal management flows.

This collaboration has proven itself since the start to be very important for our development, offering great results in terms of operations. It is a true example of a virtuous partnership.
